Meryem Aboulouafa is a mind-blowing artist, a woman of a rare elegance. After a few refining sessions of her first batch of songs with Keren Ann, she took on the challenge to create an album deeply rooted in solid musical craft, emotional finesse and contemporary sonic visions with the help of producers and musicians Para One and Ojard. Named “Meryem”, her debut album to be released on March 27 unveils the voice of a modern woman, a musician, believer and poet, with a sound evoking Florence and The Machine, Alela Diane or Agnes Obel.
